User Control: Users have the right to delete specific data from their account without deleting the entire account. For instance, you can choose to delete a chat, an image, or other personal information.
Procedure: To delete specific data from your profile or account:
Data Retention: Once you delete specific data, it will be permanently removed from our active databases. However, it might remain in our backup systems for a limited period for security and data integrity purposes but will not be retrievable.
Complete Removal: Deleting your account will result in the permanent removal of your profile, personal data, chats, matches, and other associated information from B. Locals.
Procedure: To delete your B. Locals account:
Data Retention Post Account Deletion: After you've deleted your account, all your personal data will be removed from our active databases. Some non-personal data may be retained for analytical and improvement purposes. Any data kept in backup systems will be marked for deletion and will be purged during our regular data cleanup cycles.
Third-party Integrations: If your B. Locals account is connected to third-party apps or services, we advise you to disconnect and check those platforms for any residual data.
Once specific data or an account is deleted, the action is irreversible. Restoration of deleted data or an account is not possible. Users will need to create a new account for future use of B. Locals.
