Delete my data

1. Delete your account and all your data

To delete your account and everything we hold about it on our servers:

1. Email delete (remove this) @getblocal.com with the subject Delete my account.
2. Send it from the email address you signed up with, or include that address in the message. If you used the App as a guest, include the name you entered and roughly when you used the App, and we will delete any data we can link to you.
3. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you.

We delete your account and data within 30 days and email you when it is done.

2. Remove your data from your phone

In the App, open your Profile, tap Delete Account and confirm. This signs you out and removes your profile, photo, coins and other App data from your device. A guest account cannot be recovered after this.

This step on its own does not erase your email account or your messages on our servers. To erase those as well, also send the email in section 1. Uninstalling the App removes the data on your device but does not delete your account.

3. Delete some data and keep your account

You can ask us to delete particular data, such as your message history, without deleting your account. Email delete (remove this) @getblocal.com from the email address on your account and tell us what you would like removed. We handle these requests within 30 days.

4. What we delete and what we keep

We delete: your sign-in account and email address, your messages and conversations, your matches, blocks and coin balance, and other data linked to your account.

We may keep, for a limited time:

• information we must keep by law, including reports and evidence about child safety or other illegal activity, which we preserve for law enforcement for as long as the law requires;
• analytics and attribution data, which is kept by Firebase Analytics and Singular for their set retention periods and is not linked to your account once it is deleted;
• copies in backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle, within 90 days.

Deletion cannot be undone. If you want to use BXN Dating again afterwards, you will need to create a new account.
